Administration of Bryansk applied to journalists and citizens with a request not to publish the addresses of victims of attacks due to objects.
“The Bryansk city administration appeals to the journalistic community, users of social networks, to all residents of the city: we ask you not to publish the specific addresses of objects affected by the attacks of Ukrainian terrorists,” the message says.
The administration explained that this information allows the Armed Forces to plan the next attacks. They also called for the use of information and formulations published by official sources.
On the night of August 30, a number of regions of Russia were subjected to a mass attack by drones, including the Bryansk region. Governor Alexander Bogomaz announced the destruction of six drones. In particular, one of them was shot down over the Soviet district of Bryansk, where the building of the UK is located. As a result, the roof and glazing of the administrative building were partially damaged. At the same time, Bogomaz claimed that the fire had occurred.
The authorities of the Bryansk region regularly report shelling from Ukraine. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, the average level of response has been set in the region. A high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat also operates in the region indefinitely.
