The authorities of Belarus decided to recruit women and pensioners into the people’s militia

It is planned to involve women and people of retirement age in the people’s militia of Belarus.
This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic Ivan Kubrakov in an interview with Sputnik Belarus.
The above categories of citizens cannot be mobilized, Kubrakov recalled, but they want to defend their homeland, their families, and homes. It doesn’t matter who is women or men. By the way, women are more combative, the minister noted.
The people’s militia will be organized under the local authorities of the republic. Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will train future fighters and guide them already during the performance of their duties.

The Belarusian leadership decided to organize a people’s militia last spring. President of the Republic Alexander Lukashenko warmly supported this idea.
