The deputy head of the Bali migration service, Ngurah Rai Sugito, said that agency officers are monitoring the social networks of Russian tourists and relocators to identify possible violations of visa rules.
According to Sugito, such surveillance helped to identify two Russians who paid money to teach other visitors from Russia how to ride a motorcycle, which violates the regulations stipulated by a tourist visa.
“We are also very helped by the Indonesian community, which actively informs us about alleged immigration violations by foreigners,” says the deputy head of the Bali migration service.
Recall that on March 20, Bali police deported 47 people from Indonesia, including 13 Russians. The Russian embassy in Indonesia called on Russians to comply with the laws and customs of the country.
