A US defense official said the US and UK had launched a joint attack on Houthi targets in Yemen with support from Australia, the Netherlands, Bahrain and Canada.
On the night of January 12, the cities of Khodein, Zabid, Saada, Sana, and Taiz were attacked. According to Reuters, attacks on Houthi positions were carried out from coalition aircraft, ships and submarines.
The targets of the United States and Great Britain during the attack on Yemen were radar systems, storage and launch sites for drones, ballistic and cruise missiles, CNN reports.
