The American Ohio-class strategic nuclear submarine has arrived in the Middle East region. This was reported on the social networks of the US Central Command (CENTCOM).
CENTCOM said in a statement: “The Ohio-class submarine has arrived in the US Central Command area of responsibility.”
Previously, the Pentagon sent an additional 300 military personnel to the Middle East. Also in the region is a carrier strike group led by the aircraft carrier Dwight Eisenhower.
