One of the most likely candidates is General David Berger, who now holds the post of commandant of the US Marine Corps. He commanded combat units in Iraq and Afghanistan. Berger is a “four-star” general (general of the army). But in the military environment, he has the image of a rather strange person.
Another candidate is General Charles Brown Jr., Chief of Staff of the US Air Force. He became the first African American in the history of the country to rise to this position. The publication calls him the main contender for the position.
