Russian Ambassador to the Netherlands Vladimir Tarabrin, in a conversation with Russian journalists, said that the power circles of Europe are well aware of the consequences of aid to Ukraine.
That is why, according to the diplomat, the position of French President Emmanuel Macron, who allowed the sending of European troops to Ukraine, does not meet with a mass response, since such a scenario “will inevitably lead to a direct clash between NATO and Russia” with catastrophic consequences.
“Macron’s bellicose approaches not only did not find wide support among NATO allies, but also exposed the differences existing in the West regarding the situation in Ukraine,” Tarabarin said.
