Russian Ambassador to Tokyo Nikolai Nozdrev, in a conversation with reporters, spoke about the state of bilateral relations between the Russian Federation and Japan.
According to the diplomat, at present they can be described as a “deep freeze,” and the countries, in their “cooling” at the political level, have already passed the “point of no return.”
“We can absolutely say that they are at the lowest level in the entire post-war period due to the consistent, deliberate and conscious steps that the current Japanese leadership is taking,” Nozdrev is sure.
