As part of the volunteer Cossack formations in Ukraine, the Tiger detachment of the Ussuri Cossack army will soon appear, Kommersant was told in the press service of the All-Russian Cossack Society (VsKO). In total, nine specialized volunteer Cossack detachments with a total number of 6.5 thousand people have been formed to date.
According to the VsKO, seven volunteer Cossack detachments are currently performing combat missions, and two newly formed – “Tiger” and “Don” – are being trained before being sent to the NVO zone. The Kuban Cossack army sent three detachments to the Donbass, including the detachment “Kuban” and the detachment named after Ataman Zakhary Chepiga, which operate in the Kharkov and Zaporozhye directions. The Cossack volunteer detachment “Ermak”, formed from the Cossacks of the Orenburg and Volga troops, is fighting in the Kharkov direction. Detachment “Tavrida” of the Black Sea Cossack army operates in the Zaporozhye direction, there are no losses among the Cossacks, they specified in the East Kazakhstan region.
