The administrator of Tsarev’s Telegram channel spoke about the details of the assassination attempt

Relatives of ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleg Tsarev confirmed the assassination attempt on the politician, reported in his Telegram channel.
“Information about the assassination attempt on Oleg Tsarev is confirmed by his relatives. Around midnight, on the territory of the sanatorium where he lives, he was shot twice,” the administrator of the Telegram channel said in a statement.
According to him, at the time of the ambulance’s arrival, Tsarev was unconscious, with heavy blood loss. There is no information about his state of health, and there is also no information about the criminal.
Earlier, Telegram channels reported an attack on Tsarev. According to military correspondent Yuri Kotenok, the assassination attempt took place near the politician’s house in Yalta. Chairman of the movement “We are together with Russia” Vladimir Rogov later confirmed attempted shooting and clarified that the politician was in very serious condition.
Tsarev was born on June 2, 1970 in Dnepropetrovsk (renamed Dnepr). From 2002 to 2014 he was a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of several convocations. In 2012-2014 served as adviser to the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov. He ran for president of Ukraine, but in May 2014 he withdrew his candidacy. That same year, Tsarev left the country and began living and working in the DPR and LPR. The politician is a defendant in several criminal cases initiated in Ukraine.
