Thai princess hospitalized for heart attack

Thailand’s Princess Bajrakitiyabha is in stable condition, the Thai royal palace said in a statement. Previously, she was hospitalized due to a heart problem,
The statement said the 44-year-old princess collapsed early Wednesday morning in the northeastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima, where she was being treated at a local hospital.
She was later flown to Bangkok by helicopter after her condition stabilized and was then treated at Bangkok’s Chulalongkorn Hospital.
The princess passed out while she was training her dog for a championship organized by the army.
Princess Bajrakitiyabha is the eldest daughter of King Maha Vajiralongkorn, though not next in line to the throne, as the crown is first passed on to male heirs.
She was previously the Thai Ambassador to Austria and has worked on a number of projects with the United Nations, including women’s rights.
