Tesla recalled almost all of its electric vehicles from China due to a malfunction

Tesla has recalled about 1.1 million of its electric vehicles from China due to problems with the braking system and their acceleration. About it informed Bloomberg, citing a statement by the State Administration for Market Regulation of China.
The electric vehicles were produced in Shanghai from January 2019 to April 2023. The US company is about to install a wireless software patch. By data Reuters plans to recall four models of the brand – Model S, Model X, Model 3 and Model Y.
The technical problem is related to the braking of some Tesla models – the regenerative braking system (used in electric vehicles, in which the energy generated by the engines is used to recharge traction batteries) turned out to be inoperative.
Bloomberg clarified that in nine years (since 2014), the American company has sold about 1.3 million cars to China.
May 2 Reuters wrotethat Tesla has raised prices in the range of up to $290 in China, the US, Japan and Canada. At the same time, prices were raised for the budget Model 3 and Model Y. The minimum increase for electric vehicles then went to Canada – by $222, in the USA – by $250, and in Japan and China – $269 and $289, respectively.
