Georgian Airways confirmed that they could start flights from Georgia to Russia “if they find such an opportunity.” This was stated by the head of the carrier Tamaz Gaiashvili in an interview with Business Media Georgia.
“We did not plan to start flights from Tbilisi to Russia, we will see how events develop and what the situation will be. The start of flights requires preparation, it does not happen that today the restriction is lifted and flights begin tomorrow,” Mr. Gaiashvili emphasized. He added that other areas are priorities for the company: first of all, we are talking about European cities: Milan, Berlin, Larnaca and others.
