Teachers will be able to receive up to 3 million rubles
The Ministry of Education proposes to increase the amount paid to teachers who agree to develop education in rural areas by one and a half times. The draft of the corresponding document submitted for public discussion on the portal of regulatory legal acts
Currently, teachers who move to work in rural areas, workers’ settlements, urban settlements or cities with a population of up to 50 thousand people receive a one-time compensation payment. This rule applies, in particular, in the territory of the North Caucasus Federal District, the Far Eastern Federal District, the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, the Kaliningrad region, the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
For most regions, the lump sum payment is 1 million rubles, for regions of the Far East – 2 million. If the document is accepted, the payments will be 1.5 and 3 million, respectively. At the same time, the maximum amount will be received not only in the Far Eastern Federal District, but also in all four new regions of Russia.
In addition, it is proposed to expand the list of cities and urban-type settlements to which relocation allowances will be paid. They plan to pay for moving to settlements where up to 100 thousand people live.
