In the Tambov region, on the basis of the Titan enterprise, they began producing unmanned harvesters. As the regional government told Kommersant, the investment project is being implemented with the Belarusian plant Gomselmash, the total investment is 5 billion rubles. The annual production volume will increase to 600 units of equipment, and 200 jobs will be created at the enterprise.
The project implementation period will be five years. Support for its financing on preferential terms will be provided by the Industrial Development Fund of the Tambov Region. The company produces Titan GS-10 PRO combines, aimed at the needs of farms with significant volumes of grain harvesting. The machines produced are equipped with a pre-installed parallel driving system, which allows for smooth passage across the field, avoiding gaps and overlaps. As the government emphasized, the combines’ fuel consumption has been optimized and a monitoring system has been introduced to improve supply chains.
An agro-industrial cluster will be created on the basis of the Titan enterprise. According to plans, they will start producing unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as components and spare parts for agricultural machinery. The government of the Tambov region added that the organization of production of combines is the result of agreements between Governor Maxim Egorov and President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko reached at a meeting last year.
