Taiwan spotted 71 PLA aircraft near the island

On October 27, Russian President Vladimir Putin accused the West of fueling the conflict in Ukraine and exacerbating the situation around Taiwan. “Taiwan is, without any doubt, an integral part of the People’s Republic of China. We have always adhered to this position, and it does not change with us,” Putin said. According to him, the visits of high-ranking US officials to Taiwan are perceived by Russia as a provocation. The Chinese Foreign Ministry said that they highly appreciate Putin’s position on this issue.
