Swiss Foreign Ministry: a peaceful solution to Ukraine without Russia’s participation is impossible
The head of the Swiss Foreign Service, Ignazio Cassis, speaking to reporters following negotiations with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, announced the impossibility of resolving the Ukrainian conflict without the participation of Russia.
“It is obvious that without Russia there will be no peaceful solutions, since it is directly involved in this. The purpose of the negotiations (with Sergei Lavrov – editor’s note) was to establish a dialogue that will continue in the direction of finding peace,” said Cassis.
The minister also announced similar meetings in the near future with representatives of India and China.
