“Swan Lake” – now in Sochi

After a winter success in the capital, the Swan Lake ice ballet is ready to conquer Sochi. Until September 18, performances are held at the Iceberg Ice Palace in the Olympic Park. The action of the show takes place not only on the ice, but also above it, including flights of artists under the dome of the arena and tricks with the participation of acrobats. There are changes in the composition of the participants in the production: the role of the white swan Odette on the Black Sea tour is performed by the Olympic, world and European champion in ice dancing Victoria Sinitsina, Prince Siegfried is performed by two-time Olympic champion Nikita Katsalapov (in Moscow, their parts were danced by the general producer of the project Tatyana Navka and Pyotr Chernyshev ). The partner of the show has also changed: instead of Chopard, it has become the jewelry brand Mercury. For the rest, the artists – winners of the European and World Championships in figure skating Margarita Drobyazko and Povilas Vanagas, four-time Italian champion Ivan Righini, and the fabulous atmosphere of the famous Tchaikovsky ballet, effectively and imaginatively transferred to the ice stage – are in place.
