Surrounded by candidate for governor of Khakassia Sergei Sokol explained his hospitalization

Surrounded by a deputy of the State Duma and a candidate for the election of the head of the Republic of Khakassia from United Russia, Sergei Sokol, his hospitalization was explained. Earlier, the TASS agency reported that the politician was urgently taken to the hospital without disclosing details.

“This is a continuation of his history with peritonitis. And after that, people usually need to rest and recover. And he immediately resumed a very intense campaign again,” said a source familiar with the situation.

Recall that Sergei Sokol was hospitalized on July 22 with appendicitis and peritonitis. He was operated on at the Abakan Interdistrict Clinical Hospital. Despite the surgery, the politician quickly returned to work.

The Social Marketing Institute INSOMAR previously presented data from a new sociological study*, according to which 41% of electorally active voters express their readiness to vote for Sergei Sokol in the upcoming September 10 elections for the head of Khakassia. According to Viktor Poturemsky, director of political analysis at the INSOMAR Institute for Social Marketing, they explain their choice by the strong personal and professional qualities of the candidate, the results of his work in the republic, the need to solve long-standing problems in the fields of economy, healthcare, and the environment.
