Sundial celebrating the partnership between Hublot and the master of land art

The guru of contemporary art and land art, 43-year-old American Daniel Arsham joined the cultural initiative Hublot Loves Art and received, along with such celebrities from the world of art and music as Richard Orlinski, Takashi Murakami, Maxim Bushi and Lang Lang, the status of an ambassador (ambassador ) marks.
The beginning of cooperation was marked by the opening of the sundial “Light and Time”, arranged in the Swiss mountain resort of Zermatt. Gnomon in the form of a quartz crystal casts a shadow on a 20-meter diameter snow dial. The installation is made in the artist’s favorite monochrome palette, the components of which are snow and light.
Six transparent elements reproducing the famous screws on the bezel of Big Bang watches bring this art object closer to Hublot wristwatches. Interestingly, for a complete overview of the “Light and Time”, flaunting at an altitude of 2583 m against the spectacular backdrop of one of the most recognizable Alpine peaks – the Matterhorn, you need to use a high-speed chair lift called the Hublot-Express.
