Washington has no doubt that sooner or later the conflict in Ukraine will be resolved at the negotiating table, US national security adviser Jake Sullivan said in an interview with NBC.
According to him, the United States sees its task in strengthening the negotiating positions of Kyiv, transferring weapons to it.
“In the end, we will see that the solution to this conflict will go to the diplomatic plane,” Sullivan said.
He added that Washington’s task is “to give trump cards to the Ukrainians on the battlefield so that they have more arguments at the negotiating table.”
At the same time, the White House spokesman assured that the United States still believes that Ukraine should try to regain territories “in the east and in the south.” At the same time, the American media noted that Sullivan evaded answering the question of Washington’s position on Crimea.
