Head offices of foreign companies prohibit their subsidiaries in Russia from paying taxes to the Russian budget. About it RBC writes.
It is noted that at the same time, the obligation to pay taxes is not removed from legal entities registered in Russia. In case of non-payment, the management is threatened with punishment up to criminal.
Experts said that in this case, the “daughters” should continue to file reports and declarations with correctly calculated tax amounts. In this case, the tax authority will be able to independently collect taxes from the company’s accounts. If the declaration is not submitted, a fine is charged and there is a threat of criminal liability.
At the same time, the termination of reporting can speed up the process of liquidating a company in the Russian Federation, but this is an illegal way.
