The strengthening of the state border in the territory of the Bryansk region has been completed, informed Governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz following a meeting with the commanders of the state border cover group in his Telegram channel.
“The commanders highly appreciated the fulfillment of the assigned tasks, noted the significant contribution of the Bryansk region to the logistics of the troops stationed in the region,” he wrote.
The work done also on the construction of protective structures and strongholds was highly appreciated by the command of the Russian Armed Forces, the head of the region added.
A week ago, Andrey Turchak, Secretary of the General Council of the United Russia party, who visited a section of the state border in the Bryansk region, called the experience gained by the region in strengthening it the best. “In a super-short time, we strengthened the border – the mouse will not slip through,” – declared he then.
After the start of the special operation, the Ukrainian military began to regularly shell the border regions of Russia. Currently, the Bryansk region has a “yellow” level of terrorist threat. On February 3, it was made indefinite. In addition, a “medium response” regime has been introduced in the region. The decree on this was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin on October 19, 2022.
