Police interfered with Strelkov’s speech about Prigozhin’s rebellion in St. Petersburg
One of the St. Petersburg bookstores, popular with the ultra-patriotic public as a place for informal meetings, complained about the actions of the police. The bookstore said that this weekend Igor Strelkov was supposed to perform in front of fans, but the event was prevented by the visit of the security forces.
It is reported that employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrived at the institution and issued a warning about the inadmissibility of holding an uncoordinated event. The organizers believe that no laws have been violated.
Strelkov himself confirmed that he was going to speak in St. Petersburg with his thoughts about the Wagner PMC and Yevgeny Prigogine, and specifically, he planned to criticize their rebellion. From his statements on the social network, it follows that he does not understand the reason for the “ban” to communicate with fans on this topic.
At the beginning of the year Prigozhin offered Strelkov a job in the SVO zone as part of his PMC, however, the recruiter and the applicant could not even agree on the conditions for the interview.
