Igor Strelkov called the conditions for a breakthrough by Ukraine of the front during the upcoming counteroffensive

Former DPR Defense Minister Igor Strelkov drew attention to the fact that Ukrainian forces had formed a shock fist. According to him, there is a danger of breaking through the front in case of its competent use.

He noted that the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine could begin in a number of areas, but Strelkov considers the southern one to be the most dangerous.

“It is there that the enemy can try to realize his superiority as Western armored vehicles,” explained the former head of the DPR Ministry of Defense. According to the expert, if the formed compact shock fist is used correctly in this direction, then the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be able to “break through our front anywhere.”

At the same time, Strelkov is skeptical about the ability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to successfully advance in the Donbass and Svatovo, even in the event of a breakthrough of the front in the southern direction.

“I assume that they will inflict the main blow on the sector of the front from the Volnovakha direction to the Dnieper,” Strelkov said, adding that an auxiliary strike could follow in the Kakhovka area by landing Ukrainian units across the Dnieper.
