Strelkov responded to Prigozhin’s offer to join Wagner PMC

Former Defense Minister of the DPR Igor Girkin (Strelkov) is ready to consider the proposal of the founder of PMC “Wagner” Yevgeny Prigozhin to go to the front, “if it is done in a normal way”, transmits Strelkov’s words RBC.

“If Mr. Prigozhin really has such serious proposals for me and wants to involve me in the activities of his organization, then he has at his disposal a lot of employees – I emphasize, professional military men – with whom I could, without leaving for Lugansk, discuss all the conditions of his suggestions,” he said.

Strelkov added that he has “extremely negative experience” of public negotiations through the media. In a conversation with RTVI, he named Prigozhin’s proposal, made in Telegram, is “nonsense” and noted that he “was not going to ask” for the Wagner PMC, but he is ready to consider such an invitation in a serious form.

Earlier today Prigogine invited Strelkov to arrive at the line of contact and lead one of the Wagner assault units. This is how Prigozhin reacted to Strelkov’s statement that the founder of Wagner should not be allowed into the information field so that he does not demonstrate “properties of his character.”
