NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg turned to Western countries and called on them to provide long-term support to Ukraine.

According to him, at the moment there are no prospects for a peaceful settlement of this conflict. He added that Russian President Vladimir Putin “does not have a peace plan for Ukraine.”

“In this regard, the United States of America, Great Britain, Germany and France need to prepare for long-term support of Ukraine with various weapons and ammunition,” Stoltenberg said in an interview with the Guardian newspaper.

He clarified that the mediation efforts that China is making should be accompanied by attempts to understand the position of Kyiv.
