At the beginning of December, the Ministry of Finance reported, that for the period from January to November 2023, federal budget revenues amounted to 25.96 trillion rubles, which is 4.8% higher than in the first 11 months of last year. November 22, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov statedthat the Russian federal budget deficit by the end of 2023 is expected to be 1% of GDP. According to the current law, a deficit of 2.9 trillion rubles (2% of GDP) is planned for 2023.
