Starovoit: two UAF drones attacked Kurchatov

On the morning of September 1, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the city of Kurchatov in the Kursk region with two drones, a residential building and an office building were damaged, informed the head of the region Roman Starovoit in his Telegram channel.
“In the morning Kurchatov was attacked by two Ukrainian drones. The administrative building and residential building were damaged,” he wrote.
At the scene, experts assess the extent of damage, the governor added. No civilian casualties have been reported.
On the night of August 27, a drone crashed to an apartment building in Kursk, Starovoit reported earlier. The blast also damaged several windows in the building of the engineering faculty of the Kursk State Agrarian University, located on the same street. There was no fire, and there were no casualties among the residents.
On August 20, a Ukrainian drone flew into the roof of a railway station building in Kursk, after which a fire broke out there. The governor of the region then reported that five people were injured from glass fragments.
The Kursk region is regularly attacked by Ukraine. A high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat operates in the region indefinitely. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, a “medium response level” has been established in the region.
