The Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region was under fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine throughout the day, as a result of the attack in the village of Volfino, power supply was disrupted. This was announced by the governor of the region Roman Starovoit.
“Today, the Glushkovsky district was under fire from Ukraine all day. Arrivals were recorded in Tetkino, Alekseevka and Volfino. Fortunately, there were no casualties and the houses were not damaged. In the village of Volfino, power supply was disrupted, – wrote he is in his Telegram channel.
The population was temporarily connected to electricity from a diesel generator, Starovoit added. According to him, the restoration work will continue on August 15.
The Kursk region is regularly shelled by Ukraine. On August 13, the governor also informed about the shelling of Volfino. As a result of ten arrivals, three residents of the village received shrapnel wounds of moderate severity. They were taken to the hospital.
In the Kursk region, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist danger is indefinitely. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the “medium level of response” has been established in the region.
