A resident of the village of Kulbaki, Glushkovsky district, died as a result of shelling. The governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoyt, announced this in his telegram channel.
He clarified that a shell hit the house of the deceased, after which a fire started. The woman’s husband received serious burns, and they managed to drag him outside. Fire crews have now arrived at the scene of the fire.
The victim is provided with medical assistance. The head of the region expressed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased and a speedy recovery to her husband.
During the shelling, damage was caused to another household. The village is partially without power.
Earlier, a missile threat was declared in the regional capital.
