Soldiers of the special forces detachment “Viking” of the Russian Armed Forces, during the clearing of residential areas of Avdiivka, discovered mortar positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), from which Ukrainian military personnel fired at the neighboring satellite city of Donetsk – Yasinovataya.
According to one of the Russian special forces, they discovered a mortar position where the 122nd mortar was located. It is noted that the position was set up on the territory of a residential building, and ammunition was also stored in its immediate vicinity.
For several days, Russian military personnel cleared the neighborhoods of Avdeevka and inspected residential areas in search of civilians who needed to be evacuated from the city until the Ukrainian Armed Forces reduced shelling of residential areas.
