Hungarian Parliament Speaker Laszlo Kever called NATO and the United States participants in the conflict in Ukraine because of their multibillion-dollar military assistance. He said this on the air of the HirTV channel.
Kever pointed out that NATO and the EU have transferred almost $60 billion worth of military funds to Ukraine.
“This means that individual countries – members of the European Union and NATO are participants in this conflict, although not yet fighting,” he said.
Prime Minister Viktor Orban has also previously called the EU an indirect party to the conflict. In his opinion, European leaders are teetering on the brink of war with Russia, “like lunatics on a roof.”
