South Korea promised retribution to North Korea

South Korean Defense Minister Shin Won-sik said that the DPRK authorities would face retaliation and “hellish destruction” in the event of an attack on South Korean territory, writes Reuters.
He expressed his views on North Korea’s refusal to comply with a 2018 agreement to reduce tensions on the peninsula.
“If North Korea decides to take reckless actions that undermine peace, nothing but hellish destruction awaits it,” the head of the ministry said.
On November 23, North Korea announced the immediate resumption of all measures previously suspended under the 2018 military agreement with South Korea. In response to this, the Joint Chiefs of Staff of South Korea called on the DPRK to stop preparations for the launch of the satellite and warned that it was ready to defend itself.
