The President of South Korea promised Zelensky to study the list of requested weapons
South Korean President Yun Sok-yeol, after talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the G7 summit in Hiroshima, said he would consider the transferred list of requested weapons. According to Reuters, Kyiv is requesting non-lethal weapons from Seoul.
The South Korean leader said that his country plans to provide the Armed Forces with mine-clearing equipment, as well as ambulances. As for the list of weapons, Yoon Seok Yeol promised to “thoroughly study” it.
Earlier this week, South Korea signed a $130 million financial assistance agreement with Ukraine.
