South Korea announces North Korea’s launch of cruise missile

North Korea launched a cruise missile towards the Sea of Japan. About it reported Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo.
“We found an unknown cruise missile launched into the East Sea from the Heungnam Cliff area,” a military source told the newspaper.
The newspaper noted that the Joint Chiefs of Staff of South Korea is analyzing the launched missile and does not exclude that it may not be the KN-27 that the DPRK used before.

North Korea has fired cruise missiles into the Sea of Japan before. On October 6, 2022, the launch of two missiles was reported by the Japanese Coast Guard. Then, in the DPRK, they explained their actions with a “fair response” to the joint military exercises of the United States, Japan and South Korea.
