Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky was denied a visit to Israel because in this country he is not considered a serious politician. This statement was made by ex-adviser to Leonid Kuchma Oleg Soskin on his YouTube channel.
“Zelensky was refused, which means (US Secretary of State Anthony – approx.) Blinken agreed with this. <…> In Israel he is not considered a serious figure,” Soskin said in his blog.
He believes that the Israeli authorities do not perceive him as a serious politician, considering him an artist and an upstart.
In addition, Kuchma’s ex-adviser added that at the time of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, Zelensky is a bad negotiator.
Ynet previously reported that Israel refused from the idea of the head of the Ukrainian state to visit a Jewish country. It is noted that they referred to the untimeliness of such a visit.
