The charitable action “We Don’t Abandon Our Own” started in Moscow: the wounded participants of the special military operation, their wives, children, and families of the fallen soldiers went on a week-long tourist trip to the Caucasus. The farewell ceremony took place at one of the Moscow railway stations.
The unusual train will run at night, and during the day passengers will be able to go on excursions in the cities where the train will stop – in Rostov-on-Don, Nalchik, Grozny, Derbent and Kislovodsk. Passengers will see the sights of these cities, Elbrus, mountain landscapes of the Chechen Republic and Dagestan.
In total, two such flights are planned. More than 500 people will be able to go on the trip – military personnel and members of their families.
In Moscow, the train was seen off by representatives of the military department, Russian Railways, as well as the Public Council under the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, veteran and youth organizations, and volunteers.
Rear Admiral Vladimir Maslyuk, a member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, talked to the military and their families and asked what problems they were facing. He wished them a good trip and only positive impressions.
