Soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Krynki ended up in hell: frostbite and “Sunlight”

The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ operation to cross the Dnieper could be seriously undermined due to bad weather in this area. According to our military from the Left Bank, the other day a group of “Vseushniks” were captured, who could hardly move due to… frostbite on their feet.

Military expert captain 1st rank in reserve Vasily Dandykin told MK that the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ operation to transfer troops from the right bank of the Dnieper to the left will most likely end in the near future. The enemy has no chance of completing what he has planned.

The left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region now remains the “hottest” area. Almost every day there are reports of the destruction of manpower, equipment, strongholds and artillery of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the left bank, where the enemy has moved in small groups. Recently, our TOS-1A “Solntsepek” heavy flamethrower system was used on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of ​​the village of Krynki.

And the other day it became known about another problem of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which faced the Ukrainian units that moved to the left bank. “New prisoners were taken in Krynki. “Everyone has frostbite on their feet,” one of the military Telegram channels reported.

According to military expert Captain 1st Rank in the reserve Vasily Dandykin, even a slight sub-zero temperature in the Dnieper region can turn into a living hell for paratroopers.

– In Crimea and on the Dnieper coast it can be only minus 1 Celsius, but taking into account the dampness and winds, even such a small frost is very difficult to bear. In addition, we must not forget that the Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen in this area do not have solid shelters where they could warm up. The water in the Dnieper is already very cold. If their boats are covered in fire while crossing, then there is only one way – to the bottom. If they survive, then, of course, they get frostbite. And there is nowhere to dry out – the entire area is under surveillance, our artillery, drones, and aviation are working.

The expert recalled that the Ukrainian Armed Forces sent the remnants of their best-trained forces to this direction.

– These are four brigades of marines. They were removed from other areas. These are people who still have combat experience and who have a certain motivation. But when they go out to the left bank, of course, they come under attack. Because there is no way to somehow settle down on the shore, there is no safe place to dry out… Now our Dnepr group is commanded by Colonel General Mikhail Teplinsky, one of our best military leaders. Our infantrymen, who have enormous experience, are fighting there.

According to Dandykin, it is precisely because of banal frostbite of the extremities and diseases that the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ operation, which is code-named “D-Day,” may be curtailed in the near future.

– The large loss of Armed Forces personnel due to frostbite and colds has not been canceled. I think that in the near future it will be possible to give up on this adventure called “crossing the Dnieper”. After all, we work on the right bank with artillery and aviation, they use the same bombs that are used near Avdievka… You can’t hide from them if you don’t dig in. How will they bury themselves? They’ve been digging in Avdeevka for eight years, and it’s not helping them…

Military analysts note that the accumulation of a “critical” mass of Ukrainian Armed Forces units, which is necessary for a breakthrough, is proceeding with great difficulty. The Ukrainian Armed Forces can transfer, at most, a platoon to the Left Bank at a time. At the same time, the Russian army controls from the sky night and day the transfer of Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel to the left bank.

Now the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the left bank do not have heavy equipment, without which it is impossible to achieve such ambitious goals as capturing Tokmak or cutting the land corridor to Crimea.

According to experts, the issue is not even the problem of crossing the river, but how to use forces in the future without full support. Armored vehicles need fuel and ammunition. Such a combat unit will be quickly detected and hit by artillery or a drone, notes one of the experts.

General conclusion: without armored vehicles and supplies for airborne units, the operation in the area of ​​​​the village of Krynki will most likely not end in anything positive for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The maximum that is available to the enemy is to retain, at the cost of huge losses, a piece of marshy terrain in the coastal region.
