Investors have invested more than 5.9 trillion rubles in the capital’s economy, informed Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin in his Telegram channel.

“Investors have invested almost 6 trillion rubles in the Moscow economy. last year…Despite the sanctions, investments in the city’s fixed assets are growing steadily. In 2022, they increased by 2.2% compared to 2021,” he wrote.

The mayor of the capital also recalled that in the spring of 2022, the Moscow authorities introduced additional benefits to investors to support the growth of investments. Thus, industrial enterprises were allowed to rent land for large-scale investment projects for 1 ruble. per year, 13 contracts were concluded at this rental rate.

In addition, 20 billion rubles were allocated to the Moscow Fund for the Support of Industry and Entrepreneurship. for preferential investment loans to industrial enterprises and investors who create non-residential facilities in the capital, Sobinyan added.

Earlier, Sobyanin said that in January the turnover of Moscow service enterprises increased by 3% compared to January 2022, and the total volume of paid services provided by capital enterprises in the first month of 2023 reached 228 billion rubles. According to him, the largest growth (+55.2%, to 12.7 billion rubles) was recorded in electronic and IT services.
