Slutsky is pleased with the election results – Kommersant

LDPR presidential candidate Leonid Slutsky was pleased with the election results. He said that he voted for himself. According to him, in these elections “more than ever, the main thing is not victory, but participation.”

“We came second in Lugansk, the Chechen Republic, Primorsky Territory, Stavropol Territory, Zaporozhye, Tyumen Region, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, and Chukotka. In many regions they came third. I am pleased with the result of these elections,” said Mr. Slutsky (quoted from TASS).

Leonid Slutsky scored 3.21%. Vladimir Putin wins the vote with 87.31% of the votes. This is his fifth consecutive presidential term. He assertsthat the elections proved the unity of the people. Mister Putin named one of its main goals is to solve problems within the framework of a military operation.
