The call of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to NATO to strike at the decision-making center of the Russian Federation in the event of strikes on Kyiv sounds like agony, said Leonid Slutsky, head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs.
He expressed this opinion to the Canadian television channel CTV, commenting on the statement of the Ukrainian president.
Earlier, Zelensky said that in the event of a strike on Kyiv, a strike on the decision-making center in Russia by Ukraine’s allies should follow.
Slutsky also wrote on his Telegram channel on Sunday that “Zelensky’s puppet is openly pushing its Western puppeteers towards a third world war.”
The deputy also noted that more and more world politicians are saying that Western countries “should not be allowed to get involved in a direct conflict with Russia.” In addition, more and more criticism is heard because of “military and financial support for Ukraine.”
As Slutsky noted, “against this background, Zelensky’s calls sound like agony and the result of a “shock”. The deputy believes that the president of Ukraine was shocked by “the realization of the impending failure of the anti-Russia project.”
