Slutsky appreciated the decision of the European Union on visas for Russians: "vulgar segregation"

Head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Leonid Slutsky in his Telegram channel assessed the EU decision to freeze the visa facilitation agreement for Russians.

But the MP believes that an attempt to “bend” Russia in this way and influence its actions in relation to Ukraine is doomed to failure, like the previous ones.

“Borrel revealingly announces the decision to freeze the EU agreement with Russia on a simplified visa regime…. EU sanctions failed to “bend” Russia,… they have now decided to lower the Iron Curtain and engage in vulgar segregation,” wrote Slutsky.

In this way, in his opinion, the European Union is trying to achieve a change in the attitude of Russians to the special operation.

“In exchange for the right to travel to Europe for recreation and shopping, they won’t achieve it, for sure … This decision will not be able to influence the course of events in Ukraine in any way. And Russia, I’m sure, will not leave another bout of obscurantism in Brussels without consequences,” concluded Slutsky.

Traveling to Europe will become more difficult and more expensive: simplified visa issuance is canceled
