Slovakia refused to supply Ukraine with weapons from army warehouses

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said that the authorities will not transfer weapons from the arsenals of the Slovak army to Ukraine. At the same time, supplies from private manufacturers will not be prevented.
“We are talking about weapons, ammunition from Slovak army warehouses,” the media quote him as saying. “About state resources.” But if “some company wants to produce weapons and sell them somewhere,” according to him, no one will interfere.
The priority for the Slovak government, as its new head specified, will be to replenish the arsenals of the armed forces, especially strengthening air defense.
