Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that over the 11 months of 2023, the production of armored vehicles tripled, and aircraft and UAVs doubled compared to the same period in 2022. He also noted that the issues of providing armed forces personnel with field uniforms and equipment have been resolved.

“Our defenders must have everything necessary to carry out important tasks for the country, including equipment and appropriate defensive infrastructure,” the prime minister said during a meeting of the government’s coordinating council to meet the needs of the Russian armed forces (his words are quoted by press service government). Mr. Mishustin added that thousands of engineering structures have already been built along the entire troop deployment line.

According to the prime minister, “substantial funding” was allocated for the development of defense procurement capacities, which made it possible to use more than 360 enterprises and about 37 thousand pieces of equipment, as well as attract about 520 thousand employees.
