Since the beginning of the year, consumer prices in Russia have grown by 10.5%

In the week from August 16 to 22, deflation in Russia accelerated to 0.15% from 0.13% a week earlier, informed Rosstat. Consumer prices rose by 10.56% compared to the beginning of the year.
Among food products prices for buckwheat – by 0.9%, chicken meat and sunflower oil – by 0.3%, pork, cottage cheese and vermicelli – by 0.2%, butter, sterilized milk, sour cream and table salt – by 0, one%.
The prices for granulated sugar increased by 0.7%, semi-smoked and boiled-smoked sausages, chicken eggs – by 0.5%, sausages – by 0.4%, lamb – by 0.2%, margarine, pasteurized milk rennet cheeses, bread, rice and vodka – by 0.1%.
The decrease in prices for fruits and vegetables averaged 4.1%.
Among medicines prices for ergoferon rose by 0.7%, domestic analgin – by 0.6%, validol – by 0.5%, rengalin – by 0.4%, corvalol – by 0.2%. Prices for nimesulide decreased by 0.3%, allohol and multivitamins — by 0.1%.
Among non-food essentials diapers for newborns went up by 0.5%, toothpastes and toothbrushes – by 0.3%, laundry and toilet soap – by 0.1%. Prices for sanitary napkins fell by 0.3%.
Among consumer goods prices for smartphones decreased by 1.7%, TVs by 0.3%. Prices for filter cigarettes rose by 0.2%, shampoos by 0.1%.
Prices for motor gasoline and diesel fuel rose by 0.2%.
