The transformation of the world economy is inevitable, and Russia needs to increase its share in the “global economic pie”, said Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum (SPIEF).
According to him, such a transformation is painful for the countries that used to be leaders, and they take unfriendly actions to maintain the status quo.

The Central Bank expects the economy to grow by 0.5-2%, although back in February it expected a decline. Siluanov previously allowed Russia’s GDP to grow by 1% at the end of the year.
