Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoy commented on the possible development of the situation in the field of cultural relations with the countries of the European Union and the United States.
He recalled that from 2022, cultural institutions of countries that have joined the anti-Russian sanctions are prohibited from entering into relations with Russian state institutions.
“Relations with the European Union, the United States, Western unfriendly countries, I do not think that they will be unfrozen. I do not see any prospects for something to change yet. Western cultural policy, from my point of view, is not the most reasonable,” Shvydkoy said.
