Shot: The Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation is seeking the confiscation of three Ural factories privatized in the 90s

Telegram channel Shot reportsthat the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation intends to achieve the confiscation in favor of the state of three Ural plants important for the defense industry. The publication says that the enterprises were allegedly illegally privatized in the 90s, “and now the owners have become residents of unfriendly countries” that supply military equipment to Ukraine.

The channel writes that we are talking about factories that produce 80% of domestic ferroalloys, which are required for the production of high-quality steel for military equipment. According to the prosecutor’s office, Shot writes, the factories were privatized without government permission, and now the enterprises “actually operate under control from abroad.”

Shot claims that the factories belong to the entrepreneurs Antipov brothers, who “left Russia long ago and became citizens of the USA and Austria.” It is reported that the court has already seized the shares and property of the factories.
