Shoigu: the share of modern ships in the Russian nuclear triad has reached 100%

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the Russian Navy has already included three of the latest nuclear submarines of the Borei-A project. At the moment, the share of modern ships in the nuclear triad has reached 100%.
Particular attention, as the head of the department noted at a meeting of the board of the Russian Ministry of Defense, is paid to building up naval strategic nuclear forces, informing about the latest nuclear cruisers. In addition, as Shoigu said, state tests of the strategic missile submarine "Emperor Alexander III", which is intended for the Pacific Fleet, are at the completion stage.
Over 130 ships, combat boats and support vessels, starting in 2018, became part of the fleets and the Caspian flotilla. “The share of modern ships in the nuclear triad has reached 100%,” the minister emphasized.
